The Sefton Quartet were delighted to be invited to play for a week to entertain the audience before the son et lumiere at St George's Hall set up to celebrate 800 years of the charter of the City of Liverpool.
This took place in the area outside at the back of the hall. Unfortunately it rained on the first night, and was windy on several nights but we persevered - with the help of lots of clothes pegs to hold down the music - and the weather improved later in the week. We also played while visitors walked around the lovely gardens.
The organisers and all staff involved in this wonderful project were extremely helpful, pleasant and professional. The atmosphere was friendly and it was a great pleasure to work with them.

Meanwhile we continue to enjoy playing for weddings on a regular basis including being asked to play outside in October. Bring out the clothes pegs!!
